Refining and Masking Luminosity Masks
One of the most difficult things to do in Photoshop is make perfect selections in our images. We have many tools available to us in Photoshop to make these selections such as the Magic Wand and Quick Selection tools and then the Refine Edge tool to refine those selections, but they can be fickle and not always give us a good enough selection.
In this tutorial I show you how to make extremely complicated selections using Luminosity Masks then refining that selection further to ensure you are isolating the subjects that you want to work on. I also use a method of masking your masks so that you can have complete control over different areas of your image and you aren’t locked into the adjustment, allowing you ultimate control over your adjustments.
